The visa fee is based on the “Quarterly Consular Exchange Rate” and changes at the beginning of each quarter (January 1, March 1, June 1, October 1).<\/p>\n

For Schengen Visas (Type “C”):<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adults: 90 euros<\/p>\n

Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 45 euros<\/p>\n

National Visas (Type “D”):<\/strong> 116 euros \/ National Visas for Study Purposes (Type “D”):<\/strong> 50 euros<\/p>\n

For Schengen Visas (Type \u201cC\u201d) and National Visas (Type \u201cD\u201d)<\/strong>, payment is made at the time of submitting the visa application and the required documentation at the outsourcing agency VFS Global<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cases in which the visa fee can be refunded:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Payment made by mistake;<\/li>\n
  2. Administrative error;<\/li>\n
  3. Application not yet processed;<\/li>\n
  4. Inability to process the application;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Free of charge:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The visa fee shall be waived for applicants belonging to one of the following categories:<\/p>\n

    (a) children under six years;
    \n(b) school pupils, students, postgraduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake stays for the purpose of study or educational training.
    \n(c) researchers from third countries travelling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research as defined in Recommendation No 2005\/761\/EC of the European Parliament and of
    \nthe Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research ( 1 );
    \n(d) representatives of non-profit organisations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organised by non-profit organisations.<\/p>\n

    The visa fee may<\/strong> be waived for:<\/p>\n

    (a) children from the age of six years and below the age of 12 years.
    \n(b) holders of diplomatic and service passports.
