At the time of submitting the application, proof of residence in one of these Provinces is required.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"387\" data-end=\"488\">For information and to make an appointment, please send an email to <a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"487\">consolare.johannesburg@esteri.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"495\">\u2014 \u2014 \u2014<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"572\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The legal reference is Law No. 91 of 1992, as amended by recent reforms (v. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.normattiva.it\/uri-res\/N2Ls?urn:nir:stato:legge:1992-02-05;91!vig\">LEGGE 5 febbraio 1992, n. 91 \u2013 Normattiva<\/a>.).<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u2014 \u2014<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"46\">In light of the new law, it is specified that:<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"48\" data-end=\"202\">\n<li data-section-id=\"g4ifgo\" data-start=\"48\" data-end=\"202\">Only applications submitted before 27 March 2025 at 11:59 PM (Italian time), complete with the required documentation, follow the previous regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"204\" data-end=\"245\">For \u201csubmitted\u201d applications, this means:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"621\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1ujnvad\" data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"343\">Delivered in person at the Consular Office counter before the above-mentioned date and time;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"kqp7m6\" data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"437\">Sent by post with tracking showing a date and time prior to the above-mentioned deadline;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1em0ue\" data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"562\">Sent by post without tracking of date and time, but received by the Consular Office before the above-mentioned deadline;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"3v61ej\" data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"621\">Received on Fast-It before the above-mentioned deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\" data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"902\">\n<li data-section-id=\"mklhx9\" data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"902\">Only applications, complete with the required documentation, submitted to the Consular Office on the date indicated in an appointment scheduled and communicated to the applicant by the competent office by 11:59 PM (Rome time) on 27 March 2025, follow the previous regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"1177\">For \u201cappointment communicated to the applicant by the competent office,\u201d this means the confirmation received by the applicant via email from the Prenot@mi portal or from the institutional email address of the section of the Consular Office responsible for the application.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\" data-start=\"1179\" data-end=\"1252\">\n<li data-section-id=\"mr0qkl\" data-start=\"1179\" data-end=\"1252\">In all other circumstances, the new regulations apply to applications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1305\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The applicable consular fees are available at this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/consjohannesburg.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/altri-servizi\/\">page<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Select the section of interest.
