Work Authorization (Nulla Osta): You must first obtain a work permit for self-employment from the Italian immigration office (Sportello Unico Immigrazione) in Italy before applying for the visa.

Professional Requirements: Depending on your profession, you may need to be registered in Italian professional registers or have a relevant license/authorization.

Income and Financial Means: You must prove you have sufficient financial resources to live and carry out your self-employed activity. Usually, showing prior yearly income or contracts with Italian clients worth at least around €8,500 annually is needed.
