I am pleased to share some important information with you:
– Elections of the Com.It.Es. of Johannesburg: they are scheduled for December 3, 2021. You can already send us the application form and register to vote. On the dedicated page of our website, you will find details on the Com.It.Es. (Committees for Italians Abroad), their role, how to vote and how to submit candidatures and lists, as well as the relevant forms. Moreover, those who reside in this consular jurisdiction participate in the experimentation of electronic voting.
– SMILE: the Small and Medium Italian League of Enterprises (S.M.I.L.E) aims to create a network of companies and professionals with a link to Italy, thus increasing the interaction amongst the Italian community in South Africa. Sign-up is free. For information on this joint initiative of Com.It.ES. Johannesburg, the Italian-South African Chamber of Trade and Industries and the Consulate General in Johannesburg, I invite you to visit the website www.smileitalia.co.za.
– Issue of the “Green Pass”: Italian citizens residing in South Africa who are in or traveling to Italy can request recognition of the vaccination certificate issued in South Africa (for vaccination or recovery) from the competent Italian health authority and thus obtain the “Green Pass”. For requirements and details, you can visit the dedicated page of our website.
– Job opportunity at the Consulate General of Italy in Johannesburg: we have started the selection of a driver / clerk / switchboard operator. Applications must be received by 24:00 hours on August 26, 2021. The notice and the application form are available on our website;
