IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INPS PENSIONERS ABROAD
EXISTENCE IN LIFE CERTIFICATE
2020-2021 CAMPAIGN
In light of the persistent health emergency resulting from Covid-19, INPS, in agreement with Citibank, has established a different timing for the presentation of certificates certifying the existence in life of those who collect pensions abroad.
In particular, with reference to pensioners residing in Africa, Europe and Oceania, Citibank will commence posting the application forms for attestation of existence in life, in the first week of May 2021, and these forms must be received by the bank by 7 September 2021.
If the verification process is not completed within the set deadline, the payment of the October 2021 pension will be made in cash at the Western Union Agencies and, in the event of personal non-collection of the pension or non-production of the certificate of existence in life by 19 October 2021, the payment of the pension will be suspended by the bank starting from the installment of November 2021.
