Passport for registered minors with transcribed birth certificate.

Minors who are already registered in the Consulate’s database and with a transcribed birth certificate

The documentation necessary for the issue of a passport to minors already registered in the Consulate’s database and with the transcribed birth certificate is as follows:

 

1. Passport forms (click here) for the issue of a passport to minors, must be duly completed and signed by both parents or by one of them with the consent of the other released separately (click here for the form). In the event that one of the parents is not a citizen of the European Union, the parent is required to appear in person, with a valid identity document, to sign the aforementioned consent form. The signature must be authenticated by an official of the Consulate General and is subject to payment;

 

2. Photocopies of both identification documents with pictures and parents' signatures;

 

3. Two identical, frontal and colour passport pictures with white background of size 35x45 mm must be handed in. The face must occupy about 70% of the entire picture (see photograph guidelines);

 

4. The previous Italian passport of the minor in original (if he/she is in possession of it) or, if possible, another identity document;

 

5. Payment in cash (RAND) or debit/cheque card of the amount corresponding to the current exchange rate of Euro
