The Consulate General of Italy in Johannesburg provides consular services to Italian nationals residing in its jurisdiction, to Italian non-residents who are temporarly in its jurisdiction and to foreign nationals who need to contact our Visa and School Sections.
Its consular jurisdiction comprises the Provinces of Free State, Gauteng (with the the exclusion of the metropolitan area of Pretoria-Tshwane), KwaZulu Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West.
To have access to the Consulate General, one has to exhibit a valid ID document with photo.
